Central Finance Commission (CFC)
i) A provision of ` 25.00 crore each has been made for strengthening of Fire Services for the year 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14. In addition, a provision of ` 25.00 crore was made in the budget for the year 2014-15 under Central Finance Commission, ` 25 crore relates for the year 2012-13 drawn from the budget provision of year 2014-15.
ii) A budget provision of ` 179.34 crore was made for the year 2013-14 in the non-plan under CFC, against this provision ` 165.76 crore were released to the municipalities. During the current financial year 2014-15, a budget provision of ` 129.24 crore has been made.
